hottter is a Swiss brand I created around knitted scarves and other accessories. The brand combines warm, practical pieces with bold patterns and a playful visual language.

The online store is built on Big Cartel. Rather than keeping the platform’s default appearance, I fully customized its theme to make the shop feel like a natural extension of the brand. The product pages, navigation and overall layout were adapted to give the scarves room to stand out while keeping the shopping experience simple and direct.

Working with a hosted commerce platform meant designing within an existing system while still creating a distinct identity. I used Big Cartel’s theme tools, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to reshape the storefront around hottter’s visual language and make the shopping experience feel consistent with the brand.

The result is a small, focused shop where the products and the interface share the same language. The store sells made-to-order scarves alongside caps, t-shirts and other accessories through hottter.ch.
